Jaw-jaw eki achambit is an annual herbaceous plant that grows in all climatic conditions in the Republic. Preparation of lands in accordance with the rules of agrotechnics, which is one of the main factors in the cultivation of jaggery in irrigated areas, allows you to grow high yields of crops. In addition, the types of crops, perennials and annuals are prepared taking into account their biological characteristics. The height of the jaw-jaw plant is 60-70 cm and the root system can penetrate into the soil layers up to 10-15 cm. If the jaw-jaw plant is planted in large areas, it is advisable to take into account the past crops planted before it. The fields are cleared of all weed roots and the driving depth is determined taking into account the root system (jaws cannot tolerate weeds). The purpose of plowing fallow lands is to remove weeds, control them, improve the physical and chemical properties of the soil, evenly level the soil and keep it moist. Only if these measures are taken, the growth and productivity of the jaw-jaw plant will be high. In autumn, the sown areas are plowed to a depth of 30 cm (giving 20–30 tons of manure and 40 kg of phosphorus fertilizer). In early spring, the soil is leveled with the help of storm and hoe mechanisms, cleared of weeds, when the 8-10 cm layer of soil is heated to 15-17 ° C, 60-70 cm of furrows are dug, the seeds are sown in grain and vegetable seedlings at a depth of 2-3 cm. It is recommended to spend 8–10 kg of seeds per hectare. Before sowing the seeds need to be stratified so that they germinate faster at 0-4 ° C. Sown seeds germinate in 10–15 days. The distance between the lawns is 10-15 cm. 2-3 healthy plants are left in each bush. It is cultivated during the leaf and flower production phase. After germination of the jaw-jaw plant should be carried out the first fertilization and fed with nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers from 30 kg per hectare. The plant requires a lot of nutrients during the flowering phase. With this in mind, in the flowering phase is fed by giving 40 kg of nitrogen and potassium fertilizers. The flowers of the plant are fed with potassium fertilizer so that they do not shed and the stem is strong. Feeding is carried out before watering. During the growing season watered 5–6 times. Since its vegetation period is short, it is recommended to finish feeding during the flowering phase. An average yield of 70 kg of nitrogen, 50 kg of phosphorus and 40 kg of potassium fertilizer per hectare can be achieved in jaw-planted areas.
Product preparation. The plant is uprooted during flowering and fruit ripening. Leaving the root (sometimes, with rhizome leaves), the rest is dried in a shady place.
