The chairman of the biotechnology laboratory, F.U. Mustafina, became the winner of the 86th "Women in Science" competition with the project "Obtaining Biologically Active Substances from In Vitro Tissue Culture and Regenerated Plants of Ungernia victoris Vved. ex Artjush. for Pharmaceutical Needs."
As a result of the project, a regulation will be developed on the use of callus tissue and microbulbs of U. victoris as a source of biologically active substances, including galantamine, for the production of medicinal drugs.
In 2025, 56 female scientists were awarded projects within this round of the competition.
