It grows in the Mediterranean, Central Asia, the Himalayas. It is a relict plant in East Kopettag.

Botanical description of the plant

Perennial plant, without stems, the roots are rich in starch and grow around 10-25 cm, the leaves reach a very large diameter 1-2 m.

Medicinal properties

It is used in the treatment of analgesics, gout, rheumatism, gastrointestinal diseases, neurological, headaches, liver diseases.

Growing technology

The seeds are soaked in water for two weeks. The soil is planted during the wet season. It can also be propagated by taking cherenkas from the root.
