Shim. In the forest zone of America and Eurasia, less Shim. distributed in the tropical and subtropical mountains of the hemisphere. About 100 species are known. In Russia, there are 12 species in the wild and 70 species introduced. Pine does not grow in the wild in Uzbekistan.

Botanical description of the plant

Height up to 15-20 (30) m. Branches wide, long. Conifers 8 - 15 cm, slender, pencil, dark green, hard, with a sharp tip. The dome is large, en. 6-10 cm, 4-5 cm wide, rhombic, shiny, bell-shaped.

Medicinal properties

It is grown as an ornamental plant in city streets and alleys. All types of pine are used in woodworking, construction, woodworking, resin and turpentine.
