Veronica is a perennial plant belonging to the family Zubturumdoshlar. It grows up to 15-30 cm tall. The root is thin. A creeping plant with slender short roots. The leaves are 1.5-4 cm long and 1-2 cm wide. Fruits multi-seeded up to 4-5mm. Seed width 1mm. It blooms in June-August. The fruits ripen in July-October.
Not used in scientific medicine in Russia. The plant is used in official medicine of Western Europe. In folk medicine, various forms of medicine are used. The tincture is used in anorexia, liver and kidney disease, gastritis, diarrhea, headache, bronchial asthma, insomnia and rheumatism. Compress- in various wounds. Baths are used in skin diseases in young children.
The soil is plowed to a depth of 30cm, the area where the plant is planted should be free from weeds. As fertilizers, mainly mineral fertilizers are used nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Phosphorus-potassium fertilizers are applied during the sowing period and in the fall. Yields are high, seeds are treated with rhizotorfin or nitrogin before sowing. Sowing of seeds is carried out in special seed drills. The sowing rate is 15-16kg / ha. Seeds are sown at a depth of 2–3cm.
