 Allium praemixtum Vwed. — shallots

Lukovitsy 1–3, oblong, thick 2.5–4 cm, crimson-brown color. Tsvetonos 45–100 cm high, polyy, otolshchennyy snizu v nijney polovine. Leaves 4–7, cylindricheskie, flattened to verkhushke, tubular, bluish, upright, 15–40 mm sweet, primron and 3 times short-flowered. Sotsvetie sfericheskoe, gustoe, mnogotsvetkovoe. Rasprostranen v Zapadnom Tien-Shane, Kokhistang district.

 

 

Allium pskemense B. Fedtsch. — Piskom onion

The bulbs are numerous, attached to the rhizome, oblong-ovate, 4–6 cm thick, with reddish-brown bark. The peduncle is robust, 40–80 cm tall, hollow, loosely thickened below the middle, surrounded by smooth leaf sheaths at the base. The leaves are 3–4, cylindrical, tapering toward the apex, tubular, erect, 2–3 cm thick, half the length of the peduncle. Common in the western Tien Shan region.
