Europe-Crimea-Caucasus exposition of the Tashkent Botanical Garden.

 The Europe-Crimea-Caucasus exposition currently houses 1,090 living specimens of 196 species of trees, shrubs and lianas belonging to 41 families and 75 genera. The collection is led by the Crataegus and Rosa genera of the Rosaceae family, followed by the Lonicera genus of the Caprifoliceae family, and the Tilia genus of the Tiliaceae family. In the Tashkent Botanical Garden, much work is being done to preserve the gene pool of plants, introduce and acclimatize rare and endangered plant species, and preserve living collections of plants in natural and introduced conditions. Research is being conducted on seed and vegetative propagation of promising plants for landscaping, medicinal plants, and scientific study of trees, shrubs and herbs of economic importance in our country.
