Tashkent Botanical Garden named

The management of the Batumi Botanical Garden visited the Tashkent Botanical Garden.

  On May 19, 2025, a delegation from the Batumi Botanical Garden of the Republic of Georgia visited the Tashkent Botanical Garden named after Academician F.N. Rusanov at the Institute of Botany of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan to develop scientific cooperation and exchange experience. The delegation included Mr. Irakli Archaia, Director of the Batumi Botanical Garden, Mr. Levan Aphkhazawa, First Deputy Director, and Mr. Davit Kharazishvili, Deputy Director.

The business trip is scheduled to last from May 19 to May 23, 2025, and within the framework of the visit, a number of meetings and negotiations are being held aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two institutions.

During the visit, the guests familiarized themselves with the plant collections, herbarium, and seed fund of the Tashkent Botanical Garden, and exchanged experience in the management and scientific activities of the garden. Current issues of plant conservation, protection, scientific research, and the development of international cooperation were discussed.

As one of the most important events, a Memorandum of Cooperation on scientific cooperation and exchange of experience was signed between the Tashkent Botanical Garden and the Batumi Botanical Garden. This memorandum will become a solid legal basis for cooperation in the field of mutual exchanges, joint research projects, ecotourism, and the conservation of plant diversity.

O‘simliklarni saqlash, ularni muhofaza qilish, ilmiy tadqiqotlar olib borish va xalqaro hamkorlikni rivojlantirish bo‘yicha dolzarb masalalar muhokama qilind

Xizmat safari 2025-yil 19-maydan 23-maygacha davom etishi rejalashtirilgan bo‘lib, tashrif doirasida ikki muassasa o‘rtasida o‘zaro hamkorlikni mustahkamlashga qaratilgan qator uchrashuv va muzokaralar bo‘lib o‘tmoqda.
