A sports and festive event was held at the Tashkent Botanical Garden.
On May 30, 2025, a sports festival was held on the territory of the Tashkent Botanical Garden named after Academician F.N. Rusanov under the Institute of Botany of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan under the motto "Science and sports are two wings of a person."
The event was organized in connection with June 1 - International Children's Day and the 120th anniversary of trade unions in Uzbekistan. Employees of the Botanical Garden and their children took an active part in it.
The main goal of the holiday was to promote a healthy lifestyle, strengthen the atmosphere of collectivism and friendship, as well as strengthen the feeling of inspiration and unity through sports.
During the event, traditional national games and sports competitions (table tennis, running, arm wrestling, lanka, checkers, mixing, shiribom) were held. Special games, interesting competitions, and gifts were prepared.
The winners and active participants of the competition were presented with certificates of appreciation, special diplomas, and valuable commemorative gifts.
The Trade Union Committee of the Tashkent Botanical Garden named after F.N. Rusanov, as well as the Joint Trade Union Committee of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, took an active part in organizing the event.
